This seminar presented by the Labor and Employment Section will explore the legal challenges employers and employees need to address in the face of a natural disaster or state of emergency. Employers and employees alike are often unprepared for the fallout caused by unexpected workplace closures, of both short and long duration. The featured presentation will be from a local attorney who will describe in detail the disruption caused by Hurricane Maria and how workplaces responded and adapted.
